Winter solstice takes place on the 21st December. We will come together to honour the celebrations of returning to the light.
This is the point when the sun is at its most southerly position. On this day, the sun rises later and sets earlier than any other day of the year. It hangs low and weak in the sky during the brief daylight hours, barely rising above the tree-line.
Daytime shadows are at their longest.
This is the time of the shortest day, and the longest night of the year.
A time for resting. For renewing. For retreating.
A time for celebration also, welcoming the return of the light as the sun makes its way back northwards and we start the journey back towards summer.
The light grows stronger everyday and so does our energy, though it must rest in order to do so.
Join me for the sweetest of rests. A 90 minute immersion of movement and sound.
We will breathe slow deep and nourishing breaths to accompany gentle and soothing movement and then allow our physical body open itself to receive the healing waves of sound. We will bathe in these waves and invite them to create a deeper sense of inner peace.

On December 21st access to google drive will be granted. This access will be sent via email link and this same email will be the email address that will be granted access to the session.
The session will be ready by 15:30 on 21st December, ready for the sun to set at 15:48.
